Info Post

Alas, October is over, and our month long celebration of all things creepy along with it. From here on out, horror fans will have slim pickings at the theater as far as genre fare goes, but all is not lost...

There are still some decent Horror, Sci-fi, Thriller, Action, and Drama flicks on the way that will at least appease the average genre fan if they can't get their pure horror fix.

The Man With the Iron Fists takes our money this week. I mean, Rza from the Wu-Tang Clan made a Kung-Fu flick, and he had help from Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth? We're all in on that one. It looks like crazy fun, we just wish the original 4 hour cut was the print we were going to be seeing...

Flight looks cool too; Denzel is the man, and seldom steers us wrong, so we’re down for this one too.

This week we actually get a few horror flicks in limited release that actually look decent.

The Bay looks pretty unsettling, and is definitely on our list. Of course it's only playing in one theater that's even remotely close to us, so we will have to see.

Jack & Diane could be good too; we love Juno Temple, but we wonder if the love story aspect of the movie will kill it for us. We're keeping our fingers crossed.

Amber Alert has a great premise going for it, but the trailer left us cold. Thirty seconds into the thing and we were already annoyed at how moronic the characters were. We'll give it a chance, but as of right now, we're expecting next to nothing from this one.

Vamps looks like an average, shitty rom-com, and Visible Scars looks decent.

The hidden gem of the week though is the re-release of the 80’s bad movie, The Miami Connection. You wanna laugh and just have some cheesy fun at the movies, then catch this one if it’s playing anywhere near you.
